We are a party of inclusiveness and diversity in one
of the most politically active counties in North
Carolina. We support the great Democratic candidates
who believe in sound and responsible government and
economic opportunity for all. Above all else, we
recognize the importance of education in the support
of a sound democracy. We are deeply concerned about
our county, our state, our nation, and our world. We
believe that there is much truth in what is so often
said, "Think globally and act locally" and "All
politics are local."

2010 Election Events
Oct. 21, Thursday, 6PM:Forum, N.C. Senate and House Seats, Cherokee County Courthouse
Oct. 22, Friday, 6PM: Forum, U.S. House of Representatives, 11th District Cherokee County Courthouse
Oct. 23, Saturday, 11AM-3PM: Clay County & regional candidates on the Square. Food, music & voting info. Democrat Headquarters open at 10 a.m. for Coffee with our Candidates.
Oct. 27, Wednesday, 5PM-7PM: Family Pizza night at Headquarters
Oct. 30, Saturday: Trick or Treat on the Square, Headquarters open 4-7 p.m. We can use extra bags of candy.
Every campaign
season is different but we are
learning from each election.
Let's continue in our grassroots
effort to elect the best
possible candidates for public
office.
